Hotmail Log In Problem

At the moment I cannot log into my hotmail account, only on this laptop, so I presume the problem is here, I hope it is not a virus.

I try and log in, and on doing so, it goes so far, and then goes into a cycle of opening the same screen over and over again, a never ending loop.

As I said, this does not happen on other computers, just this one.

The only other thing, is that several months ago, on going on the internet, my home screen get's changed to MSN and my search box changes from google to MSN.

I have never got to the bottom of this and it only happens now and again.

This started before my log in problem, I am now worried I have a virus or something that may start getting worse.

Has anybody come across anything similar.

It would seem that a few of us have been suffering from log in problems with Hotmail over the last few days - mine is ok now but just to make sure I did the usual virus checks, spy and ad aware then re-started computer and it seems to have sorted it
