Do any ISP's do PAYG boradband?

Options
Mum and dad are after the 'interweb' but will only be minimal users and was just wondering whether any ISP's do pay-as-you-go broadband?

If not can anyone recommend the best/cheapest monthly tariff?

Thanks.

They could try mobile broadband provided they are minimum users? Play.com are selling the 3 PAYG for just under £40 and would cost £10 for a month should they top up.

Have a read of Martin's article here to see if you think it would suit.

That Virgin price seems a tad high!

If you subscribe to Sky Television, and Sky have their equipment in your telephone exchange ( which is called Local loop Unbundling), then the 2mbps base internet service from is free. Sky charge £60 to set this up.You will have to pay BT line rental on top.
That gum you like is coming back in style.

I think most ISP's offer a dial up service, but you could also consider Freewire (Google freewire to get the web site) this uses an 0845 number and you do not have to register with any one. The website gives the user name and password.
If you want cheap broadband for the occasional user then Plusnet or Newnet could suit, both offer their lowest package for £9.99 a month and I think get good reviews.
