We bought my daughter a mobile phone & paid for it with our tesco cc, 10 days later my daughter lost her phone, we think that it accidently fell in her bin in the bedroom ( but thats another story !) anyway the bin men collected the bins & it wasn't 'til that evening that she noticed it missing.

We phoned Tesco cc & they gave us an address to write to, they sent us a claim form & we filled it in & returned it.

Today I had a letter back saying that they've refused the payment on the grounds that it wasn't reported to the police !!! so pi**ed off as the phone wasn't stolen just mis-placed.

We are now going to report it to the police as it says on the letter that it has to be reported in the first 24 months !! & we'll try & claim again.
