I have just found an old floppy disc and I recognise it as a lost disc with a lot of my song lyrics on it.
I now only have a laptop with cd - no floppy facility at all.
How or where could I retreive the lyrics, please???
There may be my best song there so don't want to dump it if at all poss.
Thank s...

Have none of your mates got a PC with a floppy drive?
Get one of them to download it and email it to you.0 -
Ask around, one of your friends may well have an old PC sitting around with a floppy drive. Otherwise, a quick Google will bring up companies who will transfer it onto CD for you at a price. Good Luck xskint but in luv :kisses2:0

Either get yourself a USB floppy drive (which are very cheap), or use a friend's PC.0

Surely a friend has a desktop with a floppy drive in it?
Failing that you could buy a USB floppy drive for somewhere around £10, probably less.
Edit - In the time it took me to post, 3 others beat me too it.

Send it to me. I have a floppy drive.
I will download it and email it to you.
I will expect royalties if it goes to number 1 though.

Some library machines still have floppy drives0
-
Why not go to a internet cafe most have floppy drives and a cd burner0
-
thanx...
believe it, or not
I don't know anyone with a floppy drive...
everybody seems to have upgraded to laptops...
will try the library,
if not, then will have to buy an external...
(didn't know they still sold them)
all the best, people...

You wouldn't even need to burn them to disk. Given that the files are on a floppy disk they should all fit into an e-mail attachment. Once you find a machine with a floppy disk drive (library is your best bet) then email them to yourself.0

ok people...
used the library/got 40+ lyrics from it
thank you, all
next problem:
it has 3x WRL files on it...
not able to transfer at the library...
what may they be0
