Buildings insurance - wooden clad walls and flat roof!

Hi all,

I am looking for some help with Buildings Insurance. Basically, I am having trouble finding someone who will insure my property. With all of the big players, the flat roof doesn't seem to be a problem (apart from a big excess), but as soon as I mention that the upper walls are timber clad and not brick, stone, etc, they do not want to know :-(

I currently have insurance with Tesco, but I think its probably invalid as I did not think that the construction would be a problem so didn't mention it last year - oops!

Any help or guidance from would be much appreciated.
