Well, at long last I've got a new pc. I've just downloaded Firefox and Thunderbird can anyone tell me what to put in the account settings to set up my account. I'm using NTL broadband and transferring my settings didn't work. Also any tips for new pc welcome.

There's some good FREE software recommendations you may want to try.
With regards to purchasing, I'd recommend Acronis TrueImage. If paying for any app it'd definitely be one worth considering.

Basically, the way I use it, I install Windows, get it setup absolutely perfectly and make sure there's nothing bad on my machine. Then I take an Image of my Windows drive using Acronis TrueImage. If ever something goes wrong or breaks, I can recover my perfectly setup Windows within 5 minutes.
Just make sure you keep all your files etc... on a seperate partition (or drive) to where Windows is installed. I basically, every 2 months, fall back to my last image, update it, then take an incremental image. It just means I never have to spend hours reinstalling or cleaning my mahcine as I can just fall back to when it was perfectly setup."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -
