Laborie wines and The Cheeseworks are offering one lucky reader the chance to win a year’s worth of delicious wine and delectable cheeses.
Laborie wine is produced at one of the oldest French Huguenot wine farms in operation. Dating back to 1691, the Laborie estate is situated in the heart of the Paarl Valley, 60 kilometres from Cape Town in South Africa.
The range includes Laborie Chardonnay, a full-bodied white, with hints of citrus, tropical fruit and a hint of butterscotch. It has a creamy aftertaste with a subtle crispness and is available from Majestic (£6.99). The Laborie range also includes a fruity Sauvignon Blanc, an oak aged Merlot, a Cabernet Sauvignon and a Shiraz full of spicy fruits with a hint of smokiness.
The Cheeseworks is recognised as one the UK’s finest cheesemongers. Shop owner and Masterchef finalist Ben Axford sells fine cheese, gift boxes, hampers and other delights from his shop in Cheltenham and online. The Cheeseworks has won many awards and was recently voted one of the '50 Best Food Shops in the UK' by the Independent.
In addition to receiving a case of Laborie Chardonnay every two months, our winner will also be sent a bi-monthly selection of CheeseWorks cheese, with the first month’s mailing including a set of cheese plates and two luscious French camembert.
