Bathroom door wont open

Came home from work this evening to find that the door to the bathroom is either warped or the lock is not opening. If the door was slightly warped, would it still be easy to open (it was fine this morning, although the window has been open all day - but it hasnt exactly been very hot/cold.
I think its likely to be the latch not opening correctly. Does anyone know the easiest way to solve this please?!
