Yes you can. You can generally only use it on the plane when the seat belt lights are off though.
  • I agree too mine to Jamacia in March and used it on the place, they may want to take it out a swab it if you have alot of electornic equiptment mobile etc but it's fine

why would you even consider putting something like that in your case? your hand luggage should contain electronics, valuables, medication, and a change of clothes.

your luggage should contain, clothes for your holiday, and your toiletries.

the above, is just my opinion.

my hand luggage is normally full of electronics..

    2 mobiles
    laptop
    2 cameras
    ipod

and on over 20 flights, i've never had anything "swabbed"...

I'm in agreement with Markymoo. NEVER pack valuables in your case!

I travel with work 15 - 20 times a year and am oftern carrying in hand luggage -
    Laptop
    2 x portable hard drives
    PSP
    Ipod
    Tomtom

    Power monkey
    Camera

Sometimes have to get them all out and put in a separate tub when going through security, but better to have that than some baggage person helping themselves to it!
