Tesco pet insurance 2x excess 1 op GRRRR

Got a springer Tess whos 9 in Nov, was always with More Than for insurance this year they wanted nearly £38 per month, shopped around and got it from tescos for nearly £19 pm, £60 excess and £4K cover each claim

Tess has been to the vet all day for an op to have some lumps removed, shes had 2 removed from her shoulder and 1 from her teat, we've been told the 2 are fatty lumps and the other is C :(

Just been in touch with MrT about sorting the bill and we've been told we have 2 excess's to pay as the lumps are different

Todays bill was £606.12 and we've got another appt Thursday for check up then another one for (hopefully) stitches out so ob the bills gonna be higher

Is it right that MrT is making us pay 2x excess even though shes had the op done at the same time

Just spoke to someone from MrT insurance and im going to lodge a complaint if so, just wondering if anyone else has been in this situation and won and only paid 1x excess

Unfortunately it is a common thing from insurance companies to split things. If one lump was cancerous and the others were just fatty then it is 2 seperate conditions and most insurance co will stick to their guns-sorry :-(
