I need to paint my MDF wardrobe and the carpenter said I should try paint them with water-based paint. So, I guess that means Acrylic Eggshell.
Is there a particular brand thats good? And I don't want to spend too much money. Are there any discounts around?

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Solo satinwood by Crown is very good, that is if your having satinwood as your finish coat.
Thin your first coat down, whether its satin, undercoat etc, as the MDF will soak up the paint, and in between coats get some soft sandpaper and lightly sand, as the MDF will slightly fur up, pat special attention to the edges.0
