Radio frequency bands? 1.2GHz

Hi,

I'm hoping you can help to resolve a query for me, as countless internet searches have proved fruitless.

I have a customer (through work) who is claiming that it's not legal for him to use wireless camera's operating at 1.2GHz in the UK. Is this the case?

We sell 1.2GHz camera's, so it could potentially leave us with a problem. I'm eager to resolve this as quickly as possible before we sell any/many more.

If you are able to answer, and point me in the direction of any legislation to support your answer (so that I can pass the reference on), it would be HUGELY appreciated.

Which states.......

1.2Ghz is becoming popular in the UK, though technically illegal, because it is a much quieter and probably more discreet band than the crowded 2.4Ghz.
