Student accounts the second time around

Hi!
I was wondering if anyone can tell me if you are still eligible for a student account for a second degree? I already had a student account with the abbey when I was studying for my first degree, but having changed profession and am returning to uni to study again...will this affect my ability to get a student account for this coming Sept?
Thanks.
Lauren

Hi lauren sorry I don't have any advice to give but I am sure someone more knowledgable will know who will be along shortly.
Best wishes

i had no trouble with natwest - just went into the branch with a student card and asked for it to be changed back. i'm not sure about openning a new account with a new bank for the signing up bonus though - for me it was all about the interest free overdraft!:happyhear0

Thats excellent thanks very much for your help. I couldn't find much information about it on the net, only that some people seemed to be having problems with getting them. I am going into abbey tomorrow to see what they say, otherwise I will be switching to NatWest, or some other bank that will take me and like you say, give me a nice interest free overdraft...which I will undoubtedly need!0

As long as you have whatever proof they need that you are a student, then there shouldn't be a problem.0
