Sky card

 I took up Sky Card promotion couple of years ago at 0%. I pay minimum by direct debit. The rate has crept up gradually until I got a letter last week stating my rates are now 26.9% purchases 34.9%cash. I was told today that the rates are based on how I manage my account!! and was due to the credit squeeze. Am I paying for other peoples 0% offers or for Skys default customers. Pay it off by transfering to another card and run is my advice, but a warning to all you guys out there to read the small print in these letters that drop through the door saying changes are being made to your card.

I blame the credit squeeze for my local cafe running out of yoghurt.
People blame the credit squeeze for anything. They're just trying to get more money out of you!
You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.

If you have debt with them I would switch it out via a 0% balance transfer deal elsewhere.

After paying a BT fee you should still be better off than paying that sort of APR.

    Good Luck

Yes, it has everything to do with the credit squeeze/crunch

By only paying the min regularly they think they've got you trapped so they are applying the squeeze/crunch on your credit.
