Student Honours Loans

Has anyone else had the pleasure of dealing with their customer service ?
My loan has been "split" between Student Honours and SLC, and in order to defer payments/get 3 months repayments reclaimed i've had to ring both, explaining why etc.
It's taken Student Honours virtually a week to send me the paperwork, which still isn't here yet.
Although the best bit was whilst checking to see if it had been sent they were concerned that i hadn't rung their 0870 number (used a 01332 number of the saynoto0870 site). I presume it had shown up on their display?
After a "Your not supposed to use that number to ring here..." lecture (lecture's a bit ober the top but what the heck) I explained that it was cheaper for me to use the 01332 number rather than the national rate one and i thought i would ask if he wanted me to ring back using the 0870 number - he said "no, but dont do it again!".
Honestly, it was like i was at school - ok i feel better now i'm off my soapbox.
SLC in comparison were a joy to deal.
