I heard this on the radio today. OFT have lost their court case which was seeking to clarify the section 75 CCA protection for card purchases over £100. OFT had previously believed that this applied to transactions worldwide, but certain card providers wished to challenge this - and have won the first round in court.
OFT are likely to appeal and if they fail, it is also reasonably likely that the law may be changed to consumers' benefit.
