I took it as funny, not sarcastic and I know what you mean regarding fees etc., but hey, let's just have another drink.

My early morning calculations (which may be slightly adrift - but not too far) go like this (based on non book,DVD or CD fees):

    0.99 less:

    0.10 (Ebay listing fee)
    0.08 (7.5% ebay FVF)
    0.23 (pay pal fee)
    0.41

Which leaves a profit of around £0.58

Which is not a lot but is better than nothing - after all, if you sold 10 of such items, you'd have £5.80 which would buy you a nice bottle of wine.

But, I've not included paypal fee on the postage so, depending on how much the postage is, you need to take another 3.4% off for the stamp repayment. For standard first class letter, (£0.36) you'd need to knock off about another penny. So, the maximum postage to pay before you didn't make any profit would be around 58 x 36 = £20.88

    Assuming OP's stock is free.

    41%??

No wonder there's nothing on ebay any more.
