daft question re powergen tariff
ok ok its daft i know, but how do i know which tariff i am on without having to speak to an indian woman/man who tells me system is down cant help you?
i switched using the link on here for the £40 currys vouchers and have been transferred to powergen as of 12 th november, but not sure which tarriff i am on??
can anyone advise me where i will find this information other than on the phone to india?

All systems can go down!
It won't be the fault of the people who answered the phone (couldn't they tell you when they expect the system to be back?) - and it won't be because they were Indians (how do you know that, anyway?)!
If you can't wait till their systems are back up, you could try e-mailing them, (direct link on their site), or logging in to your on-line account (if you have one) to check.
(They usually send written details of the tariff during the switch process.)
If all else fails, write them a letter!0 -

i am not an energyonline customer :o
i am in fact an energy saving plan customer,
but the figures i was quoted on a letter from powergen 6th october (before price increase) still stand, i havent yet been affected apparently! (still dubous thou!)
and it appears still to be dearer than british gas arrgghh! :-[
i got this information after a 27 minute hold! luckily to an 0800 number phew!trying hard to count my blessings while surrounded by idiots :O)0 -
