Hi
is there any problem with making payments to my credit card weekly or fortnightly rather than monthly. I get paid weekly and manage my money better this way so am more likely to pay them off. I have two one at 0% (£3900) and one at 16% (£2000)
thanks in advance

No problem at all. As long as your CC issuers are receiving (at least) the minimum payment, I do not think they care how often you pay them. Paying them weekly may makes your budgeting a little more difficult, but it is entirely your decision on how you repay your CCs.
I suggest you set up a standing order AND a minimum payment direct debit.0 -
thanks skyrider will make one of the payments direct debit.0

Amex didn't let me make more than one debit card payment in a month.. caused a bit of a panic!! You might have to ask your CC provider to check their specific policy

good point, may be better having a standing order to another account, changing my direct debit to this account and increasing what I pay a month.

defo check with your issuer.. they will issue you a statement for the month, and you have X amount of days to make that payment, you cant just drip it in over the month...
Obviously if you are paying much more than the minimum then shouldnt be an issue..
If they have a limit on the number of debot card payment, get the sort code and account number... you should then be able to pay them via your own bank using your CC number as the reference...0
