The MSE website has now joined the list of barred sites from my works pc.
The site is listed as "chat" on the software they use.
This amendment was obviously made by some fool with too much money !!!

Sounds like the company is in the money making spirit, that is employ people to work and not spend all day browsing these forums

My company is the same.
I'm not allowed to play the lottery either, presumably they don't want you to win so that you have to stay and work for your living!!!
What I did was send myself a link to the forum in an email rather than go to the chat through the main homepage.

Had the same problem myself. Only been blocked since Tuesday.....muppets!
Do as I do (if of course your tech team are as 'bright' as mine). Go to www.guardster.com (which is a proxy gateway they haven't blocked
), and use the free proxy option. You are of course probably breaching your contract, but hey, you'll be back on here!! 0 -

The forum is blocked at my workplace as well (except during lunch time), as it is classed as 'chat'. However the main site is still accessible (as the URL is different).
I can see the reasoning behind banning it, as it is easy to get caught up and lose track of time on the forum.0 -
