Does any one know where I can buy an aloe vera plant in the UK?

My Aunt gave my mother one years ago ( I think she brought it from the USA, about 30 years ago, probably not legal but:o .................)

I would love to have one, but I can't seem to find any one that sells them, can anyone help please?

  • I bought one from Homebase a coupe of months ago, it was in the house plants section. It's doing great on my sunny patio and have since split it in two. I have also seen some at my local garden centre.

I'd like one too. I have a little clipping from one but my cat chews the top of it so it's dead. Maybe a big one would stop it.
Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.

My sister has one that breeds so prolifically she could set up in business if she didn't keep a waiting list of people who want one! She is giving me a few of them when I visit at the end of this month and I can't wait! :j

They have got them in Aldi at the moment. Also IKEA usually have them in.

What a kind thought and much appreciated, but I live in Yorkshire, so not really in collecting distance, but I am touched by your generosity:A
