Problem Paying For An Item?

I purchased a shirt today and imediately sent payment.I have just noticed that the £ sign has not come up and there is the egg timer. When I hover over the symbol it states Paypal is dealing with this payment. Im just a bit confused as I have never had this before it usually goes straight through.

Definately no problem with funds and I have purchased things before and after this item and payment has shown up straight away. Any ideas?

Thanking you in advance

Thanks Custardy. Yes showing in my Ebay but items before and after have been shown as paid straight away. The seller only has a 1 rating but the description states Paypal accepted. Is it possible he got this wrong and does not have Paypal? Ref. Echeque if this is the reason why would this happen as funds are fine. Thank you

Maybe the seller doesn't accept e-cheques and therefore paypal cannot process the payment.

Can you choose the method of paypal funding? This might help.

I( have just viewed transaction details and it said status: Unclaimed. What exactly does this mean and is the a message I could send to seller to change this? Thanks

most likely the seller has a basic pp account and will need to upgrade their account

Or that seller has wrong email on Ebay for their Paypal account. Probably best to get their contact details and give them a ring.

I've had that as a payment received, but it says payment received and there is no sign of any problem anywhere, apart from when you look at the symbol in my ebay. This was a couple of months ago, nothing has come of it.
