To paint or not to paint.....

Ive had a new bathroom done inc a new radiator and heated towel rail, should i paint the copper pipe or can it be left? will it go green?? peoples opions please, the rest of the bathroom has been painted white, the pipe color contast looks ok to me but atm but if its going to go green then i will paint!

    We painted ours (just one thin coat) not long after fitting. They need redoing now (6mths down then line) but I checked with our fitter and he said there was no problem in painting them...

    Painted ours in same colour as wall - assuming they are chrome, it'll be fine.

    If they are white, you can buy radiator white paint, but I'd bet it'd be a different shade!

    There are clip on sleeves available, in chrome, too, but probably not worth doing, if it's only short lengths.

    We've always painted ours the same colour as the walls so they blend in a bit better. Never had any problems

    I generally tend to leave them, because if you do more work on the pipe later it looks a mess. If the pipe is within reach of running water or worse, then it is best to paint, but emulsion is not always up to the requirements. If you do paint, make sure the pipe is cold first.

    It won't go green. Just a matt light brown.
