Hi, just manage to get some bacon spare ribs for my local butcher. I've never cooked them before but my mum used to cook them when I was a child and I loved them. The problem is I can't remember how she cooked them. Can anyone help me out and give me a quick cookery lesson.
Thanks
Thanks

Not sure if it's what you're after, but it's a start at least.
And then there's these on the BBC site.

You can't beat bacon ribs, mashed potato and cabbage.
I boil the bacon ribs in cold water. I then pour off the water and scum that has accumulated.
I then pour boiling water over and simmer for approx 1 1/2 to 2 hours. My preferred method though is 15 minutes in the pressure cooker.
Served up with mash and cabbage and you would think I had seved up an a la carte meal the way my husband raves.
