Very dodgy company they take your admin fee and run
  • I have just got off the phone with 'yes loans' and wished I had read this thread first. That will teach me! I was ringing to enquire about a loan and how much the total repayable would be. It was merely a queries phone call and before I knew it I had been transferred to 5 different people and an application had already been put through. They talk a million miles an hour and seem to skim past really important facts. I found myself having to ask them to go back and re-explain certain points. I was then past on to a guy who said 'congratulations you have been offered a loan all I need now is a guarantor's name and address', when I told him there was no way I was going to use a guarantor he asked me why and told me to ask my landlord. He continued to suggest people I could ask and I repeatedly told him I wouldn't be asking anyone. I said that I was no longer interested so he then told me to hold while he transferred me. Someone else then came on and said that she needed my account details confirmed for a £400 pay day loan. I said I had not asked for one and wasn't interested in one. She asked me to confirm my home telephone number, I told her I had not given anyone a home telephone number, only a mobile. She swore black and blue that she could not cancel the pay day loan without confirming my home telephone number. I told her again that I never give out a home telephone number to anyone only a mobile. She said again that I must have as she has one. I know I didn't give a home telephone number as I don't know it and would have to check it where it is written down in another room.

In the end I hung up and had to call back 5 times to make sure that there was no pay day loan or loan application going through. Each time they continued to transfer me through the department to see if anyone else could convince me to take a loan. I ended up getting angry and demanding I not be transferred again and all I wanted to know was if it had all been cancelled. I finally got an answer but we will see!

All in all what a shambles-i will now expect that they have my mobile number and will most probably pester me with phone calls.

Looks like these clowns are just introducers.. i.e they'll take a fee and palm you off to someone else... not very transparent.

    Links to BlueSkyFinance?? Mmmm...

(check FSA register for YEs Loans!)

Yes they tell you they have found you a cheap loan:), then take £69.50 off you:o, then tell you its unfortunate but the "cheap" loan is no longer available to you:mad:. Then they get loads of people to phone/text/email you at ridiculous times :mad::mad:and you still havent got a loan unless you want to pay ridiculous amounts of interest.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I am in this boat too.

Applied last Thursday, told it was all going through and money would be in bank 4-5 days.

TIP: use this number 01633712712 its a landline number that gets you through to Yes Loans and is a lot cheaper than the 0845 / 0871 numbers

Rang today, on hold for hours, spoke to guy who said the loan application was declined and he was pass me through to a collegue to try and arrange something today.

I was passed through to a rather charming guy from moneyworries.co.uk who basically said my only option was debt consoildation with them........

Having talked through it all on the phone, (he already has all my bank/card details from YES loans) I ended the call feeling icky. I checked out both Yes Loans and moneyworries.co.uk and there reputation is terrible and I have literally been in tears all day as I just dont know what to do next.

I don't want to go ahead with moneyworries.co.uk and have signed nothing but Ive read so many peoples other post saying they are still likely to take the 1st months payment as they have my details.

I am petrified. I have a £3000 overdraft but we are £4200 over and I just want to pay it off as we cannot get our hands on a penny.

    ANy advice welcome please.
