Advice plse re current accounts

My partner and I have just purchased a car. We want a seperate current account where we can put some money to use for repairs, purchases, petrol etc. but most of the current accounts around at the moment with incentives are for salaries to be credited monthly.
I do not want to change the accounts altogether just get a seperate one for the car.
Any ideas of who is best to bank with? Anyone know of any incentives for accounts on this basis?
Many thanks and look forward to your responses

Hi,
have you thought about opening an instant access savings account as these pay (much) Higher interest rates.
ING pays 4.75% and it takes about 3 days for the money to clear from them back into your current account. Can be opened for £1-a-rooney.
or even an ISA could be used if the money is only for emergencies, my ISA allows 3 withdrawels a year with no penatly. :AClassically it is said that money acts as a unit of account, a store of value, and a medium of exchange.
In fact, other goods are often better than money at being intertemporal stores of value, since most monies degrade in value over time through inflation or the overthrow of governments.0
