Where can I download tv programmes (e.g desperate housewives, family guy, ugly betty) from for free to put on my ipod?
Every site I seem to go to either requires payment or only only allows you to view the programme online rather than downloading it.

Sometimes iTunes give away the odd free episode, so you might want to check that out.0

"Torrent" in it's truest sense (the protocol and the applications) isn't illegal - lots of linux distros are torrent-based, as is lots of other stuff.
Granted a lot of people do use it for other means....0
