converting .ram to .wav

Am downloading some soundbytes for a quiz which are in .ram format playing through Realplayer and I want to play them on my I-tunes and put them onto my i-pod.
The file stores ok but I cannot import to i-tunes in the normal way.
Also if I just change the extension to .wav, I-tunes still can't pick it up and it still won't play.

Is it possible at al lto do what I am trying to do?

How are you changing the extension, If your just changing the file name extension to wav that wont work at all what you need is conversion software ram to wav or ram to mp3 I would google for this,,,, ram to wav or ram to mp3..

Hi, thanks for that. Didn't realise. I did d/l above link but just couldn't get it to work. All other programs when I googled are purchased programmes.
Anyone know of any freeware I can use?
