Hi guys, have been trying to research aquaball and ecoball for laundry. I am currently 6 months pregnant and have decided to use reusable nappies therefore the amount of laundry will increase. I wonder if anyone has any experience of using these.
Thank You xx
Thank You xx

I have just bought a Lakeland laundry ball, will let you know how it works, not arrived yet.0

I saw an article from good housekeeping a while back where they tested various laundry balls. Might be worth you looking it up as I believe it was on their web site too. However, I do remember that they concluded none of them worked any better than washing with just water.0

Thanks for the replies,
I'll keep checking to see what you think of the lakeland ball too. Thanks xx0 -
hi, i used it yesterday for the 1st time, there were lots of bubbles, which i wasn't expecting, though maybe left from last time. everything seems clean and same as usual, only thing i missed is lovely clean smell as it has no fragrance. bit noisy banging around too at the beginning.
will let you know after been using it a bit longer.0 -
Thanks andrione1,
I think i'll get one and start using white vinegar and essential oil instead of softner. That may fragrance it a bit.xx0 -
well, i am very happy with my lakeland laundry ball.
i definitely recommend it. my clothes all smell clean, look clean, and frankly don't see the difference.
and for £8 for 80 washes. yeah, no more lugging tablets/liquids around.
After this runs out i will probably buy an ecozone replacement, it costs more but lasts longer.
hope you have lots of fun with your baby lwcus 78!
and thanks for good idea about fragrancing.0 -
I use the Wash-it laundry ball i got them from QVC. I tried using it on its own and to begin with the result was fine but gradually i found that i was having to rewash things as they were either still stained or whites were beginning to look a bit grey.
I still use the wash ball but with one wash tab or a small amout of powder and the results are great. I have been doing this for over a year now i mostly wash at 40, occasionally 60. I bought a pack of two balls about 2 years ago and they are still in use.0 -
I use the green eco balls. Had them for years cost about £30.00 but havent had to refill them. Use them for washing clothes that arent too dirty, towels etc. Have to use normal powder on husbands work clothes as they have a lot of grease on.
You need to add a fabric softener so that the clothes have a frangrance.
Would recommend, clothes are much softer.:j0 -
Thanks for all the replies, I'm now going to invest in them. I will feel so much happier using these rather than powder on babies nappies. Sounds as if as well as being green they are mse too! xx0
