IE fix Non techie help. Please can you email me a file?

Hi, hopefully you can help me. IE will not let me download ANYTHING I have worked out that I need to download a program called IEFix, but - I cant download it! :mad: It's a very small zip file located here Would someone be able to download it for me and email it to me please?

    Sounds like you just need to change your security settings in IE to less secure.

    In IE 7 move the arrow to the right of a tab that you have open, right click and then select menu bar.

    Then click on tools, internet options, then security, then click custom level.

    scroll down until you see "Downloads" and make you selections

    When you get it working I recommend you dump it and use firefox or opera

    Edit; alternatively you can go control panel, internet options, security, click custom

    Hi, this is a recent problem (late last night) I was recovering a dead hard drive for a friend, and I seem to have recovered somethiing unexpected! I will have to get FireFox though.
