Liverpool -Hard Days Night Hotel parking

Hi,

We're going up to Liverpool next weekend for three nights & staying at the Hard Days Night Hotel.

We're just wondering where the best place to park will be, as the hotel doesn't have it's own car park.

We won't be using the car that much over the course of the three days (I don't think so anyway - as there's so much to see around where we're staying!) so need somewhere secure that's long stay.

Any suggestions much appreciated please!

There is an NCP on Hackins Hey that I always use when I am in town at weekends because it is slightly cheaper than some of the others due to it being in the Financial District but irs only 5 mins walk from your hotel. There is also one at Whitechapel/Queens Square at the end where it meets Victoria Street which is another multi storey (not sure who owns it) that is a few minutes further away but still well within walking ditance.
The closest one is on Victoria Street but its Pay and Display and open air so not very secure or cheap for long stay.

No chance of leaving the car at home then and going by train?

It'd cost a fortune to get the train for us both to Liverpool and works out better/cheaper/more comfortable if we do drive (even if petrol prices are horrendous!)

Thank you Floyd for your post, hopefully we should be able to find our way there!!

I'm not sure of the NCP on Hackins Hey, I may be wrong though. There is a small car park on Hackins Hey but I wouldn't leave my car there overnight on a weekend. There is an NCP on Pall Mall, I imagine that might be slightly cheaper than certain other city centre multi storeys as it's open air and is mainly used by office workers during the week but I think it'd be okay leaving a car in there overnight. Or there is a multi storey in St Johns that isnt extortionate but it's a bit of a walk away.

There is currently an area on Pall Mall opposite the NCP that is just a glorified wasteground really but it's being used as a car park, that's £3 per day through the week but people park in there for free of a weekend, that'd probably be your cheapest option that is still quite nearby but if you want piece of mind and a bit of added safety I'd consider the NCP on Pall Mall.

Or if you're willing to pay through the nose there is a brand spanking new car park underneath Liverpool One.

I'd say the main options I can think of are the NCP on Pall Mall or St Johns.
  • I stayed at the Premier Inn on Vernon St off Dale St earlier this year and directly opposite there's an NCP multi storey secure car park where i left my car for the weekend, i think it was @£24 for the weekend and is literrally only 5mins walk from Matthew St.
