the new video ipod has been unveiled and they are already selling it on the apple website. there are two variation a 30gb (£219) and a 60gb(£299) edition.

Yep, seems like a nice piece of kit, but I am right in thinking that you can only download tv programmes etc if you are in America ? That's what I took from the report.
Of course that would not stop you from downloading from your computer****************************0 -
Be aware that ipod batteries are very costly to replace and have to be sent back to the manafacturer. I got stung last year!!!0

I'm waiting for all the older versions (and returned Nano's) to be sold on their refurb site now......should be some good bargains soon as most peeps only want the newest technology

You can pick them up on eBay for £10 and replace it yourself. By that time it'll probably be out of warranty anyway. With patience and care it's not too difficult to do."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -
Does anyone know hoe to convert DVD to mpeg4 using a PC - one of the file formats the new ipod uses. As this would obviously mean more use from the new ipod.0
