Park Holidays?

Hiya, has any one stayed @ Dawlish Sands, Park Holidays in Dawlish Warren?
I am thinking of booking a 4 day mid week break for September, 3 adults and can take the dog. Staying in a silver grade caravan.
Thank you...
If winter comes, can spring be far behind?
Spring begins on 21st March.

    Hi Julie

we stayed at the site a couple of years ago. A nice quiet site on the flat. It has a really nice indoor pool, small club house with entertainment. It is the furthest holiday centre from the beach but still within walking distance.

Don't know if still the case but you could use the facilities at Coast View Teignmouth. We really enjoyed our time there a very relaxing holiday

    Hi
I love Dawlish sands, so far have been down twice this yr, and another 2 visits planned.

Re Taking a dog, they only accept dogs in Bronze vans, even though it says silver in brochere, its a miss print, Bronze you have

1 bedrm - sleeps 4, double bed, dining rm table converts to a double, lovely caravans,
2 bedrm bronze, there 1 double bed, 1 twin and double in front rm, usually by converting the dining rm table,
    3 and 4 bed bronze.

I find by having the 2nd bedrm, it gives you a bit of added space.

The site is small and friendly, has 187 caravans, flat level surface, club room, with restaurant section, bar, entertainment mornings and evenings, you can take dogs into the clubroom with you, indoor heated pool.

The site got sold about 2 yrs ago and the new owners big company and they have spent a lot of money upgrading the facilities and the site.

They have brought Golden Sands - 3 miles from site so you can visit their club rm, if u wanted a change.

You can book online - if you do go through Quidco and you get 8% cashback, dont know if you get the free linen if you book online, otherwise think its £10 a bed. Not 100% sure as we book direct.

If you want to phone the site direct is 01626 862038, everybody there is really friendly and helpful.

Going back to the dog, they only have a limited number of pet caravans on site, if they havent got one available, they do do sublet some of their vans to Hoseasons, you could always proce up through them.

If you any more info, or whos best to speak to, where to go or whos who, just pm me and reply back direct.
