I was listening to some items on the Beeb's site. Some items can be downloaded but not the ones I wanted. Can you plug in a video or tape recorder somewhere on PC to record or is there some way to burn onto existing dvd writer.
Any advice gratefully received. TB

The creative Audigy 2 sound card has a record what you hear feature...not sure if you would be breaching any copyrights by doing so.

Thanks Mr Skint & all,
I'm a bit of a novice & a software Jonah!
I want to play BBc's repeat programmes for a particular favourite of mine on radio4.(15 mins at a time). I have downloaded both Audacity & Freecorder & have had the same results from both. With Realplayer putting sound through speakers, both the others progs appeared to be recording but in each case nothing could be heard when replaying.
Any further help welcome but please words of one syllable. Thanks, TonyB0 -
Give me the web link(to the site) or tell me where to get it and I will have a look..0

If you click on Accesseries > Entertainment > Volume Control
and then Options > Properties
Click on recording, and make sure the stereo mix box is ticked.
Then click OK, and then make sure the stereo mix recording option is selected on the mixing desk, and then try recording again. If you're feeling down, you must be holding a duck.0 -
OK. As usual I get so far & no further!! Click on properties but no sign of stereo mix.
