Hi All,
Yes, very soon I shall be spending 5hrs in Manchester Airport with a five year old.
Does anyone know is there much to do at the airport, any suggestions how to help the time pass like a breeze. Your suggestions would be appreciated.
Cheers

There's a Concorde that you can see and visit plus shops and most of the hotels will allow non residents in the bars for a snack and a drink.0

The rooftop car park ( level 13 ) at Terminal 1 is a good spot for plane spotters and should keep the youngster interested for a while if the weather is fine.
If you follow the road north from Terminal 1 ( 10 minutes walk ) there is a pub with viewing over the end of the runway, decent food and a childrens play ground in its gardens .
