Creeping interest rates up and changes to T&C

I have had a few letters from card co's changing my agreements without any negotiation, for instance Barclaycard up from 1.456% to 1.527% plus a doubling of interet minimum to a £1.

I was thinking of changing a few clauses to suit little ole' me.

Has anybody else seen the goalposts move without explanation?

  • I'm afraid that it's almost certain that when you signed the original agreement, you agreed to a clause which states that they can change whatever they like, subject to giving you certain notice.
