hi,
Does anyone know how to configure outlook express for Gawab email. I have set the incoming and outing mail servers, but it says connecting to pop.gawab.com and the user and password request keeps coming up. Must have something to do w ith the other settings. Any ideas?

Have you ticked the box to 'remember password' in the account>properties> server tab - just below the pop3 info?Money can't buy you happiness, but it does bring you a more pleasant form of misery.

Yeah have ticked that box and the one that says my server requires authentication0

Does your server require authentication? None of my email accounts do. Try unchecking that box.
If they do require authentication, go into the 'settings' box alongside and enter the details there - that also asks for username and password.Money can't buy you happiness, but it does bring you a more pleasant form of misery.

Have a look at what it says on the gawab website. I got an email address with them when my son gave me the info, however I was unable to download to my inbox. It might say on their site that you can pay for this facility or maybe it isn't an option and is only web-based.Torgwen..........

Tried unchecking box, still won'twork.
It should work cos i remember a few months ago i set up fine, but have since changed comps.
Gawab website simply says enter the incoming mail and outgoing mail servers, nothing about settings.0
