off to pontins prestatyn monday is it worth an upgrade and how much are they, what would you recommend to do and what not to do.

basically wanted to know what activies i could participate in, which are free. Never been there before!!!!

Depends on what you want and age groups.

Swimming Pool is FREE

Beach is about a 5 min walk from the Camp (If your in a car they charge for parking, think it was a £1 for the day last time we went.

PGL Activities for the older Kids, but Think you have to pay towards these.

Captain crocs adventure land for under 8's? FREE (Upstairs in the main reception area.
Arcade (ARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGH !!! :eek: )

Lots of different kids activities on through the day, meet the charectors etc... (You will get a booklet in your booking in pack telling you whats on through the week) Most of these activities are FREE.

You can hire bikes but think it about £20 last time we got one but you get your £10 deposit back)

Also you should get a booklet full of money off vouchers for on the camp, drinks, food, souviners etc...

Little Shopping street in Prestatyn, with woolies, few gift shops, ethelaustins, a good few charity shops, Spa with post office inside, somerfield and iceland just off the main shopping street, with a cheap shop next door. Market on Tuesdays.

If your in budget and can upgrade then do it, budget apartments are not very nice at all!! Sorry!!
If weather is nice then the beaches are really nice and a cheap day out! Head into Rhyl for lots to do aswell.
We are off to Prestatyn on Friday but to the Haven camp as Pontins isnt really for us but we still had a good time when we last went
