my g/f used to have nightmares with pressies for friends etc, trying to keep up was getting her deeper in debt by the present, so now she asks them all what colour/theme they are having for there tree etc, and she buys material to match their answer and makes them matching table cloths, place mats and coasters and for specials she buys artificial flowers and makes table centres, it works out about £3 for each person, and with a little creativity they look beautiful when set out, some of her friends have used the same one for other occasions. a few metres of inexpensive material goes a long way.0

Excellent idea RoboFan - she's very creative! I am planning to make Xmas cards like I did last year, but in terms of pressies there will be none... as we'll be in Bangkok for this Xmas and new year... saving money on Xmas! :rotfl:MFW #185
