Business Website Selling Toys From Home - What do you think ?

I can't tell if this is a scam or not. My cousin is stay at home mom and wants to earn some pin money. She spotted this on ebay and we're just having a MSN chat about it.

What do you guys think ? Personally, I'd still rather set stuff up on my own, but I'm known for being paranoid about being ripped off

Personally I'd stay well clear.

FIrstly if he was selling this to more than one person how is your cousin going to compete online? Secondly, drop shipping is never a brillian tidea, the seller gets stuck with all the problems and complaints and the dropshippers can't be held responsible fo rlost items or items not in stock.

Also, with the growth in discount toy shops even online I can't see how you can keep prices high enough to make a living, yet undercut anything else that turns up on a Google search.

I e-mailed three of the online toyshops yesterday (got their addresses from the feedback) and not one has replied. The stock seems to be entirely Grafix, which is poor quality stuff in HUGE boxes.

Hi,

He is selling you your own version of that site - so for example, you could set up angelcaketoys.co.uk and they will allegedly do all the work, all you do is market your site. But it turns out to be less than quality stuff and the claim you won't have to deal with irate customers seems odd, after all, its your name & no they'll have when things go wrong :eek:
