I've had trouble downloading both the John Le Carre books. Possibly the site has been overloaded with requests or else maybe I've not got enough hard disc space on my laptop (the first one is a staggering 13 CDs long)

Will try again during the week when things are a bit quieter.

Both books are in my download library so I assume they are safe and can be downloaded at my leisure. I hope so anyway.

If you have problems downloading the books after "purchasing" them, fear not. I got this e-mail through this morning from AudioGo:

We appreciate that many customers have experienced issues completing the download of their chosen titles. This has been due to a massive response to the promotion and a failure with one of the AudioGO servers to handle the large amount of redemptions. It is not an error on the part of Guardian News and Media Limited.

To complete your download please follow the steps below:

1 - Return to the AudioGO website and log in to your account using the email and password you used to claim your download. ( http://www.audiogo.co.uk )
2 - Go to 'My Download Library'.
3 - Click on 'Download' next to your title.
4 - Click 'Save' on the File Download window that appears.
5 - Select where you would like to save the folder. Your download will now commence and may take a while, dependent on your internet connection.
6 - When the file has downloaded extract the MP3 files from the folder.

You extract the files either by right-clicking with your mouse (on a PC) then following the instructions on screen or (on a Mac) you should be able to open the folder straight away. You can then import the MP3 files to your player of choice. More information on this process is available on our Help page. ( http://www.audiogo.co.uk/help )
