Not a freebie, as you have to buy the paper. Also, it's already included on the free dvds thread on the other forum.

The Guardian is NOT a load of rubbish dobbiesloan. Martin writes in the Money section!!0

Well said Eileen! I fully agree ... and not just because Martin writes for it.
Having said that, any paper that gives away decent films worth watching is worth buying - it's an extremely cost effective way of building up a nice DVD collection0 -
Picked up my copy of the Guardian today. Luckily, I managed to grab the last one in Tesco (and this was at lunchtime!).In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

If you got the Guardian for the DVD dont' miss the £1 voucher on page 4, should be able to use it off your shopping in Tesco so that makes the paper and DVD a bargain 20p!

Always a TOTAL freebie in my house.
In fact I'd be significantly worse off if I didn't "BUY" them !!!!!!!!
I have at least £10 of newspapers EVERY week as an ABSOLUTE MINIMUM.
Several times a year it will be £20 - £25 and on odd occasions maybe even £40 or £50 worth.
I'd guess £750 to £1000 worth in a year.
NEVER pay for a single one.
NOT done so for at least 3 years, probably more than 4 actually, difficult to remember the last time I did pay for one.
Just use newspaper coupons and magazine coupons to buy the lot.
I get all the CDs and DVDs for nothing.
I've had all the Freebie offers (loads of pints of beer, dozens of free restaurant meals, Fish & Chips galore from Georges & Harry Ramsdens, sarnies from Subway and McDonalds, bags and bags of McCain oven chips, scores of cinema tickets, books, even a free DVD player apart from the P&P and loads of supermarket or product coupons for free items or money off for "discounts" at ASDA/Tesco etc.) .... the list is almost endless.
To maintain a stock of coupons I use coupons to buy papers with more coupons in.
For example - £2 coupon buys 5 Daily Mails at 40p each
Each Daily Mail has a £2 coupon in so I end up with £10 worth.
Used one £2 coupon to "buy" them so a net gain of £8
I buy enough of them frequently enough that I don't run out. There are 10 types of people in the world. ‹(•¿•)›(11)A104.28S94.98O112.46N86.73D101.02(12)J130.63F126.76M134.38A200.98M156.30J95.56J102.85A175.93
