Hi Guys,
I have recently purchased a new desktop PC to supplement my existing Laptop. I already have wireless internet working fine on my laptop. However since installing this on my desktop aswell it has stopped working on my laptop.
My Laptop now is showing as being connected to my Network however when I try and sign in it doesn;t work. I have contacted my service provded AOL numerous times but they "have no answer for this query!"
Any help would be very appreciated???
Thanks

What do you mean by this? Your wireless router establishes the connection to AOL and your PC's connect to the router. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
Weird - AOHELL!
When it says connected do this:
Start > Run > Type "CMD" > Click "OK" > in the black screen typed "IPCONFIG" > Hit Enter
You will see an IP ADDRESS listed.
Report back here.
Guessing you might be connected with a 169 phantom address.0 -
A long shot - your firewall is not blocking the connection is it?0

you do know there can only be one login on any screen name with aol?, try just using ie on the second machine and not trying to log in with aol's software.click here to achieve nothing!0
