my new nokia 6550 classic camera wont work. when i go to camera mode it says.. camera on standby. anyone know how to rectify this and if known common problem with these mobiles?

im guessing it will probably be the flexifilm cable that links the 2 halfs of the phone together is on its way out and will need replacing.
have you tried updating the phones firmware by using the updater on nokias site? (back up all your data first as it may wipe it off)0 -
i dont think its on the way out as its a brand NEW phone. Ive updated from nokia site.

well in that case then, the cable may already be faulty or the camera module may be damaged0
