A+L 0% Overdraft for 12 months

If you have recently opened an A+L Premier Plus Current Account how do you know for sure whether you have 0% interest on your overdraft? Do I just need to ring to check?
Having never used an overdraft before, could I use it all to 'borrow' the full amount and put it in a savings account until the 0% interest ends, to make some interest on the money?
