IceSave ---- Time to Withdraw?

  • I worry about my savings. That's why I read noticeboards like this. I have more in Icesave bonds than I feel comfortable with, though they mostly mature this year. The International Monetary Fund has just published a report which I have found partially reassuring. My summary is 'Icelanders are smart cookies, who have adapted well to challenges in the past. They face challenges in the global credit crunch, and they need to do quite a lot. They have made a good start.'

    The site is http://www.imf.org/external/np/ms/2008/070408.htm

It is VERY SLOW TO OPEN.

Opened in less than a second on my system ;)

I still think Icelandic banks are excellent, and have no issue in recommending or "investing" with them. The scare stories get right on my nerves, but then the media does in general!

Yes, definitely withdraw and transfer the money to Bradford and Bingley. :rotfl:
