Windows Critical Patches

Windows have finally made the critical patches (Windows, IE & Mediaplayer) available for download. Get your system updated now Click Here select Windows Update from the bottom right hand hyper link.

    In essence I do agree with you. However, you will find Eric, that Tony H is a well respected member of the forums.

    Ultimately, those who are concerned regarding clicking on the link ... can choose not to or simply use their "Windows Update Button" ... but hey, no one can knock another (especially a Board Guide!!) for the reminder to all and a link for those who may not be as technically minded as others, surely!!???

    This is a very valid point, but hovering over the link reveals that it points to MS Update Website. I would have added a direct link but it occured to me that a higher percentage of members would probably be using XP. (This puter still uses 98SE).

    I often think along the same lines as you when I see members listing what security they use on the other threads! That in my opinion is more useful information for someone wanting to be mischeavious!
