    Hi everyone!

    Today I wll have:
    - checked online banking- dh took out £10 too much- shouted at dh. dh paying £10 back in to savings on monday. Changed some money around so we don't get charged for going over drawn- now back in credit. Time fr another 'chat' I think. Not sure how many different ways I can say. 'if you spend our money on cr*p then we wil never be able to do anything nice like go on holiday, buy a house etc.' sigh...
    - made yummy avacado dip for tortilla chips- and am going to eat it all as dh in dog house...
-had friends round for tea and didn't realise i'd run out of teabags so they bought me some and didn't want any money for them. Yay.
    -hoovered in the bedroom
    - will have leftover potatos for dinner with salad and cheese.
    - will try and defrost the freezer tonight if it gets colder tonight.
    - will make a caard for my Mums b-day
    - will make baby list of thank you letters and people to send baby cards to where he FINALLY arrives!
    -Have a NSD

That's it I think for today!

Sorry ..... but ...... we haven't done anything good today.

However, if you think of buying for an investment, then yes, we have, or rather DH has.

Today DH bought a motorbike  , not just any old bike, oh no, a clapped out, moth ridden, heap of metal. It weighs a ton!!.

So he's struggling on his own, trying to get it up the ramp in the garden, ready to go into the shed for his 'tinkering project'. Alas, he's failed, so other bike has gone up the shed, and his one has ended up in the garage. GREAT!!!. BUT, hey guys, when it's finished it'll be worth a furtune :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: .
:D Opinions are like bottom holes, we all have one :D

    Hi all,
Never posted on this thread before but I do read it every day and am amzed at how organised and motivated you all are!
So thought I'd add a few bits of my own today to try and make me feel that I have done something useful today!

    Ok...I have...
    • Paid off my Mastercard, in full, almost £3k argghh! So saving about £100 repayment a month (of which most of it was interest!), even though I keep thinking I could have used the £3k for 2 weeks in Spain for me and my 2 girls!!
    • Spent 50p on hot choc for my daughter while watching the other daughter at gym club, I refrained from having a drink.
    • Spent £4 on a big baguette, newspaper and cheese.
    • Done 2 loads of washing, both drying out on the line.
    • Listed about 10 more cds on Amazon and 3 books (one a boxset that others have for £18 for sale, so I have at £17)
    • Sorted the desk out in the girls' bedroom (we moved in 2 weeks ago so a few jobs left to do)
    • Got chicken out the freezer for my dinner, no ready meal for once! Girls are at their Dad's. Wine in fridge that a friend at work gave me, bargain!
Ahhh, now I've written it down I feel quite productive!!

    Bye for now,
    Kxx:rotfl:
I really need to sort out a new signature!

New to the thread but pitching in!
    • cycled to town rather than getting bus
    • declared car SORN - determined to go without for whole of summer!
    • didn't pick up a basket in Asda and only came out with the things I could carry on the bike rather than all the stuff I might usually have bought.

Welcome to Nekosuki, millyscarlet and any other new posters I may have missed:hello: :hello: :hello: :hello:

Had a good morning shopping spent £35 but got some good bargains including a pair of black cord jeans for my DD for £1 (she has gone out in them tonight - didn't tell her they were only £1:p )
18 months ago I would have gone to town every weekend with DD and spent £100+ on "stuff" - this is first £35 since February so I don't feel so guilty about it:D it also includes lunch and £2.70 for [STRIKE]rip off [/STRIKE]car parking:mad:
