Couple of digi cam questions!

Hiya! I just bought myself a new digi cam - a samsung i70, this is my first one of my own so i'm really excited! Firstly, I wanted to know how many photos will fit onto a 2GB memory card.
Also, i'll be needing to take some photos at a christening and at a gig very soon after it arriving and i'm worried that I won't have got to grips with all the extra stuff it has. Which is the most important stuff to figure out first?
I'm excited!!
Thanks :)

The number of images you can get on your memeory card depends on what you set the camera's resolution to. The maximum resolution of your camera appears to be 7.2 Megapixels, so at that resolution you can expect to get a minimum of around 280.( probably more as the camera compresses the data a bit)
The camera should display the number of shots you have in the display screen.
Just set the camera on normal and forget about the gimmicks and you should be fine.
That gum you like is coming back in style.

How many photo's depends on if you leave it set to it's default of taking pics at it's full 7.2 megapixel resolution. The pic below shows how many photos you'll get on your card depending on the resolution of your camera :

The main things would be working out how to turn the flash off/on/auto and also to take a few pics in various light conditions so you can see when the flash is needed. Other than that, I don't think much else would be needed for those kind of pics. I've been using camera's for years for that kind of thing and never really bothered with going too in depth :)
