C/C application - right timing

hi all,

My 0% deal with Sainsburys expires on 3 Dec and I am therefore applying for a new 0% BT card. I would like to what would be the right timing to apply for a card, i.e., right now (8 weeks in advance) or to wait a little bit more.

My £2 report from equifax arrived by post this morning. As far as I am concerned it looks OK. Strangely, it does not show refusals I had in Dec/04 (2 or 3 for loans) + (2 C/C) + (searches on insurance quotations).

My electoral roll shows 2004-2005, Edit register = No ??????????

has anyone got electoral roll 2005-2006?????

Help is very much appreciated....

Cheers!!!

In general, best practice seems to be to start researching at 8 weeks, and make the application at 6 weeks. By the way, it's nearer 7 weeks than 8 weeks to 3rd Dec now!

They might only be on Experian?

I think these are the dates that they have for you living at your current address and on the electoral roll there. By way of example, mine says 1994-2005. "Edited register = No" just means you have elected for your name to be removed from the electoral roll list which can be sold to direct mailing companies.
